Support for a Mother of Triplets

Mrs. Olufunso Amosun donated cash and gift items to a mother of triplets to support the upkeep of the babies, who were delivered at the State Hospital Ijaye, Abeokuta, on 9 November 2012.

She explained that the donation was spurred by compassion for the mother, who was unemployed and caring for three older children, after hearing that her husband had absconded over fears of how to cater for the triplets.

She noted that babies are gifts from God and should be adequately nurtured so they grow into responsible adults, and encouraged parents to take advantage of the state's free consultation and treatment for children aged 0 to 5 in their local government areas.

The mother thanked Mrs. Amosun for her kind gesture and prayed for more blessings and strength in all her endeavours.
