Mrs. Amosun hosted the NACCIMA Business Women Group to a dinner in support of the group's first workshop in Ogun State and pledged to partner with them to empower more women.
To demonstrate her commitment to women in business and women's empowerment, Mrs. Amosun hosted the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) Business Women Group, known as NAWORG, to a dinner reception. The dinner supported the group's workshop at the Valley View Auditorium, Isale-Igbein, Abeokuta, on 17 October.
Speaking at the Banquet Hall of the Government House, Mrs. Amosun expressed her readiness to partner with NAWORG to empower more women and eradicate poverty.
NAWORG Chairperson and Iyalode of Yorubaland, Chief (Mrs.) Alaba Lawson, thanked her for supporting the first NAWORG workshop in Ogun State, adding that it was just the beginning of good things for women in the state.
“I believe in teaching people how to fish rather than giving them fish over and over again. Our women deserve special attention and I am ready to partner with NAWORG in order to teach more women how to catch fish so that they can support their homes and children.”
