Mrs. Amosun urged students to embrace peace and always aspire to be the best in their endeavours, letting the reward of success serve as motivation for greater achievements.

She gave the advice at the 14th Redeemer's Day celebration of The Redeemer's Secondary School, Redemption Camp, along the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State, on 8 March 2013. She also appreciated Pastor E. A. Adeboye and Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye for their efforts in the spiritual and educational growth of children.

“As the future leaders of this nation, you are expected to contribute your quota to its progress and development. Whatever you learn today would go a long way to enrich your lives and everyone around you.”
