Mrs. Olufunso Amosun, Yeye Moremi Oodua, officially opened the YMO AI & Digital Training Hub in Ile-Ife and admitted its first cohort of trainees in AI, digital technology, coding and entrepreneurship.
Mrs. Olufunso Amosun, wife of former Ogun State Governor Senator Ibikunle Amosun and Yeye Moremi Oodua, officially commissioned the YMO AI & Digital Training Hub in Ile-Ife, Osun State. The facility was set up to give youths, students and unemployed graduates practical technology skills.
The commissioning also marked admission into the hub's first training cohort. Trainees receive instruction in artificial intelligence, digital technology, coding and entrepreneurship, designed to prepare them for opportunities in a technology-driven global economy.
Olori Aderonke Ademiluyi Ogunwusi, wife of the Ooni of Ife and Global Ambassador of the Queen Moremi Ajasoro Initiative, praised the hub as an effective response to youth unemployment. She noted that Nigeria produces more graduates than there are professional positions, which makes practical skills in graphics, AI and digital marketing essential for employment and self-reliance.
“I strongly believe that our young people must not merely be consumers of technology; they must be equipped to become creators, innovators, entrepreneurs, and responsible leaders.”
“An investment in human capital and a platform through which young people can discover their potential.”
